Industrialization requirements

Industrialization is a process that has deeply influenced production techniques: we have moved from a rudimentary, manual production system at dispersed locations, to production making increasing use of tools, centralized mass production, based on standards to obtain products of homogeneous quality.

Expectations of an industrialized service center

The most frequent expectations or requirements of an industrialized service centre in charge of modernization projects:

  • productivity, i.e. the amount of work per unit of work
  • production capacity, i.e. the maximum number of units of work processed per unit of time
  • availability
  • precision, i.e. the anomaly rate in units of work produced before testing
  • automation, i.e. the level of automation of the units of work produced
  • reliability, i.e. the residual anomaly rate after testing and observed 3 months after the switch-over date
  • relocation, i.e. the percentage of work that can be relocated to a remote site.
  • training, i.e. the amount of training required for a new production team member to become fully operational.

Expected advantages

By taking charge of the industrialization of their projects, MetaWare provide customers and partners with projects with all the benefits of industrialization, and this within the context of a performance bond covering the industrialization requirements.

MetaWare industrialization offer includes the implementation, for each project, of an Industrialization Office (IO) in charge of ensuring that the requirement specifications, defined in collaboration with each of our customers during their project and production phases, are met.
