Le Pecq, March 13, 2009 - MetaWare, the leader in mainframe modernization today announced that it has signed contracts for two new modernization contracts in Benelux. Both projects are system Z Replatforming to reduce TCO by transforming and automatically migrating mainframe technologies and achieve higher levels of IT productivity.
MetaWare assignement is to lead the modernization of the information technology infrastructure for one IBM z/OS system to be replatformed on to a Windows platform in order to reduce operational costs and standardize the overall IT environment and one z/OS platform, CICS, Cobol environment to be replatformed on to a UNIX platform, Microfocus MTO, Cobol in order to reduce TCO and gain agility.
